Arnaud represents MEA in Los Angeles. Arnaud has more than 15 years of experience in the film, music and television industries. Arnaud’s skills include strategic advisory, private placements, sell/buy-side; restructuring engagements; financial due-diligence of entertainment assets; market-sizing; and film gross or profit participations financial modeling and calculations.
Arnaud advised the Recording Association of America (RIAA), with macro economic and pricing analysis in their successful arbitration against the National Publisher’s Association of America (NMPA); advised Melodic Arts, a music publishing company led by ex-president of Warner Chappell Rick Shoemaker; completed a private placement for an on-demand digital lifestyle solutions company led by a leading Electronic Arts Producer; completed advisory and Forensic Accounting for a private equity group investing $80m of junior debt in a leading film company.
Arnaud was previously a Director in FTI’s Media & Entertainment Group where he advised on projects ranging from library valuations, restructuring of a film fund, digital audits of online music retailers, due diligence (Spyglass Entertainment), private placements (SpiralFrog, Rock River), and macro economic analysis (one of Big 4 wireless carriers).
He was previously in the Media and Entertainment Group at Houlihan Lokey Howard and Zukin for several years, where he worked on the NBC-Universal and Sony – MGM acquisitions. While at Houlihan, he also worked with music majors (EMI, Dreamworks); music labels (Artist Direct, Univision); independent distributors (Navarre Corporation); film production companies (Wild Bunch, Radar Pictures, Silver Pictures, Village Roadshow, First Look); music publishers (Chrysalis), technology firms (MediaDefender), banks and private equity groups in a variety of services. Prior to that he was in the film lending unit of Natwest-Coutts.
Arnaud received a Masters of Science in Management from HEC Lausanne. He holds NASD Series 7 & 63 Certifications.
